Many of our clients ask us to carry out routine internal audits on their behalf. It not only gives them an independent assessment and report on how they are doing but also an opportunity to receive ongoing professional advice on best practice and continuous improvement.
Audits should be carried out by a trained person who is independent from, and yet understands the operations taking place in the area being audited.
This can be a challenge for the smaller manufacturer where everyone has a role to play in production.
